Surfing is one of the most popular sports in Hawai’i. This design depicts a boy monkey surfing on a longboard waving the “shaka” or hang loose sign. The shaka is a positive hand gesture in Hawai’i that symbolizes friendship and unity and is used to greet or acknowledge one another.

Wood burning is used for small details such as the scales of a fish or turtle, etc. Each piece of artwork is stamped on the back with our Le Family logo.

Care + Instructions
Using a dry soft cloth, rub the surface with a minimal amount of lemon oil to preserve the natural beauty and shine of the wood. This should be done twice a year or as often as you prefer.
