Angelfishes are frequently seen while snorkeling in the Hawaiian Islands. This depiction of a family of three angelfishes consists of roughly 25 individual pieces of wood. It requires at least twice the amount of work compared to most of our aquatic designs due to the many pieces involved. Notable features of this design include the inlaying of the striping on the bodies as well as the details on the fish's gills.
We offer this particular design as wall decor only and comes in either a medium or large size. Decorate your home or office with this beautiful wood art during the holidays, special occasions or all year round. Our artwork adds a unique touch to any space and multiple pieces may be grouped together to create various themes.
*The wood types used for this design vary upon availability and the photos above are examples of the different possible color/wood combinations you may receive. You are welcome to request a particular color and we will always try to accommodate your needs.
Each piece of wood is meticulously hand contoured and carefully assembled to create multi-dimensional artwork. The beauty and uniqueness of our artwork comes strictly from the natural colors and grains of various wood types. No staining or painting is involved, only an oil finish is used to ensure the beauty as the wood ages. Wood burning is used for small details such as the scales of a fish or turtle, etc. Each piece of artwork is stamped on the back with our Le Family logo.
*Please note that this is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. The shape and workmanship are exactly as shown here but because of the different grains and shapes in the exotic woods employed, there will always be some variation in color.
